In my youth, I was propelled into the gaming world while battling activity restrictions due to an allergic condition. This situation was later remedied, but before then, I yearned to engage more with others and had a hunger for creativity that needed to be sated. Determined to find ways around my obstacle, I discovered that I could connect with my friends in ways I never thought possible through games. My friends could be themselves in a supportive community that continued to expand with new people and kept us connected, even during the pandemic.
